About Us

The Ark Valley Credit Union was formed in 1955 as the Rodeo Credit Union for employees of Maurer-Neuer, Inc. The Credit Union was opened to Cowley County residents in 1979 and the name changed to Ark Valley Credit Union in 1990.  In 2003, Ark Valley Credit Union merged with the Rainbow Credit Union(formerly Binney & Smith) and opened a branch office in Winfield.

Our Credit Union allows membership to any individual employed or residing in Cowley, Sumner, Elk, Butler, or Chautauqua County.  An initial deposit of $5.00 or more opens an account.  This gets your share-savings growing and establishes you as a full fledged member.  Contact your employer about participation, or stop by our office for further information about joining.

At Ark Valley Credit Union, members are part owners.  Our sole purpose is to help you, your friends and co-workers, get the most for your dollars.  You can use your credit union for all its worth-with safety and security.
